It’s been manufactured in 6 generations in targa coupe, t-top coupe, convertible, and coupe body forms. Initially constructed in St. Louis, Missouri and Flont, Michigan, it is constructed at a General Motors assembly plant located in Bowling Green, Kentucky at present.

Just about every vehicle we pass is a green and white Border Patrol truck, but this is one Mexican immigrant that is freely waved across the international boundary.  Read the rest of this entry »

imagesVermont’s green mountains blur into a rich pallete of summer as I motor along Route 7 north of Bennington, Vermont. An occasional patch of yellow or red is the harbinger of fall, which will soon come to New England. As I shift into sixth gear and settle in for a smooth and tranquil high-speed run up this straight stretch of macadam, I recognize that at-peace-with-the-world feeling that motorcar enthusiasts get when the day is good and the ride is great . . . and the top is down. 200x133_arton12973I’ve said recently as United States, individuals and businesses may reserve the Nissan LEAF power in spring 2010.

This month, the manufacturer Nissan has partnered with the City of San Francisco.

Their purpose is to promote environmental technologies and also accelerate the development of electric vehicles and infrastructure (charging stations …).

The Nissan electric LEAF will be part of their program of testing before marketing.

Pitting its performance and power against the Mercedes ML320, the Lexus RX300 and BMW’s X-5, Honda’s luxury division claims its first light-duty truck offers “best in class” acceleration and braking, aerodynamics, cargo-carrying ability and fuel economy. Tailored for more performance and prestige, the MDX replaces the SLX, a re-badged Isuzu. Read the rest of this entry »
