The interior of the 2012 Hyundai Velsoter is surprising in that it is so comfortable and roomy for a car of its size.  Most hatchbacks and coups are rather small when you get in them and the rear row of seats is usually a good deal smaller than what you would find in a sedan.  The Veloster 2012 model offers plenty of leg room with beautifully upholstered seats.  The dashboard has been described as slightly busy but it offers easy readability and plenty of information.  Hyundai has said that the design for the 2012 Veloster was inspired by a sport bike and the interior goes a long way in conveying this idea.  To top it all off, the Hyundai Veloster 2012 models come with a multifunction touch screen that should deliver an array of different information and displays.

The 2012 Hyundai Veloster Coupe new car has the peculiar layout of a single door on the driver’s side and two conventional doors on the passenger side. The implementation of the Veloster is in charge of the new 1.6-liter four-cylinder Gamma – the smallest of the power units of Hyundai, which uses technology GDI (gasoline direct injection). Gamma 1.6 GDI engine is equipped with a cam change D-CVVT, develops a maximum power of 138 hp at 6300 rpm and maximum torque of 167 Nm at 4850 rpm.

It is no secret that Hyundai brings its long waiting 2012 Hyundai Veloster coupe at the Detroit Auto Show. This 2011 Hyundai Curb concept could be a preview version for future model that says they’ll compete with models like All-New 2011 Nissan Juke. They expect the 2011 Hyundai Curb production model debut within the next 2 to 3 years.

2011 Hyundai Curb crossover appearance virtually as cool as we’d expect to examine the concept of Hyundai, however I don’t assume a lot of of the concept truly do the assembly.

Hyundai California Design Center and Hyundai Motor America presented the world debut of the new 2011 Hyundai innovation curb car concept vehicle at a press conference at the 2011 Detroit International Auto Show. Braking is a compact urban Activity Vehicle (UAV) for the next generation of Hyundai buyers. Braking is also a test for the future of Hyundai Blue Link ™ and vehicle connectivity.

The inspiration for the 2011 Hyundai Concept curb came from the need to move on Hyundai’s tire sculpture “design language for younger buyers. The roof also features towers pop-up roof rack, which shows the perfect combination of being robust, but high technology. Braking is a clamshell tailgate light, also opened by a touch screen to load gear and a third rear access door for entry and exit of passengers easy.

2011 Hyundai Sonata is almost an inch longer than the previous model, with a wheelbase of 2.6 inches stroke. The heavy door sedan up to the EPA classification of big cars, alongside the Honda Accord. But the weight is kept under control through extensive use of high strength steel, beneficial because the Sonata V-6 will not have the option to offer its competitors, but sell in relatively low numbers. The engine only for now in all three pieces (GLS, SE, and Limited) is a direct injection 2.4-liter four-cylinder that makes 198 hp and 184 Nm of torque. If our test model’s standard dual exhaust added 2 hp and 2 lb-ft, bringing the total to 200 hp and 186 lb-ft. A Hyundai-designed six-speed automatic is available throughout the range, with the base GLS get a standard six-speed manual. An optional direct-injection 2.0-liter turbo-four will quench your thirst for power when it is launched later this year, when a gas-electric hybrid will also be introduced as a top model. What sports car is $87,000 Canadian less expensive than the new 911 Carrera 4S, is a spectacular looking machine in the driveway and will for the most part satisfy your need for speed? It?s the all new 2003 Hyundai Tiburon GS-R.

Sure this may sound like a commercial, but I can’t help myself. I really like this car. Of course we can’t seriously compare the new Tiburon to the Carrera 4S, its main competition will come from the likes of Acura and the Toyota Celica. So how does the Tiburon stack up? Well, let’s see.

Keeping up Appearances

On first approach, the 2003 Tiburon is a great improvement over the bulbous design of the 2002 model. The lines are clean and serious. Its stance is sleek, aggressive and it?s foot sure. The side shark fins are especially appealing to me as they are reminiscent of the side body ribs on my old ?58 Corvette. Never before has the name Shark, (pronounced Tiburon in Spanish) been more appropriate for this sports car. Not a pony, or a mustang, this shark is poised to attack. Read the rest of this entry »

In this staid and cultured part of the country, every bend in the road seems to offer a new museum, art gallery or music center. This is the home of quiet, understated elegance, with well-sculpted yards, simple but refined homes, and understated but chic vehicles. The Hyundai XG-350 fit right in.

While being picked up at a Midwest airport, it was interesting to watch the reactions of other passengers as the top Hyundai rounded the corner. Several folks checked out the badges and their surprise was evident. “Is that a Hyundai?” one asked, ?It looks like a small Lincoln.? High praise for a car brand that once was featured in late night monologues.

The XG is quite stylish, especially the rear ? view. The curve of the rear fenders and prominent trunk lid gives the XG-300 a retro? look. The view from the front is also inspiring and very smooth with a luxury hinting waterfall grille. Read the rest of this entry »

$18,080! I don’t usually start a review with a price, but in this case, it’s impossible not to first mention the great value when talking about the Hyundai Sonata.

At that price, the Sonata has many competitors beat, including Chevrolet Malibu, Honda Accord, Toyota Camry, Nissan Altima and Saturn L-Series. While the Sonata may face a reputation with some people who think South Korean vehicles are inferior in terms of quality; they shouldn’t.

Hyundai even backs its vehicles with extended warranties that prove the automaker is confident in the long-term reliability of its product. These include a 5-year, 60,000-mile new vehicle warranty; 10-year, 100,000-mile powertrain warranty; and a 5-year, 100,000-mile anti-perforation warranty.
